Established in 1939, Ideal Funeral Parlor has proudly served the Pee Dee region for over 80 years. From its inception, Ideal's primary vision has been to provide unwavering service to the community, offering compassion and care to families during their time of loss. Ideal Funeral Parlor was founded by a group of visionary leaders: Rev. W. S. Guiles, Rev. Arthur James, Rev. and Mrs. Willie A. Johnson, Rev. J. L. Brooks, Mr. Flander Singleton, and Mr. Jasper Singleton. These strong men and women identified a need within the community and took action, laying the foundation for a business built on integrity, compassion, and dedication.
