Phaneuf acquired the Zis-Sweeney and St. Laurent Funeral Home in August 2024. The move represents a homecoming of sorts, as the Phaneuf family ran a funeral home in Nashua for 80 years before closing in the mid 1980s. The purchase of Zis-Sweeney and St. Laurent allows Phaneuf Funeral Homes’ to serve more families in southern New Hampshire. The firm will be rebranded as Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium.
